A Large Language Model, or LLM, is basically a smart computer system that learns language by reading huge amounts of text from books, articles, websites, and other sources. It works similarly to how humans learn language through practice and exposure. By using deep learning and transformer technology, the model learns grammar, sentence structure, meanings, and writing styles. This allows it to answer questions, write stories, summarize information, and even chat with users naturally. LLMs are very useful in everyday applications like virtual assistants and customer support, but they are not perfect because they sometimes provide incorrect information or responses that sound confident even when they are wrong.
